“Mud… lining fingernails, encrusting children’s knees and hair, sucking feet like a greedy newborn on the breast.” — Hillary Jordan, Mudbound
In this 2-hour improvisation dance class, we will explore—individually and collectively—the qualities of mud and how the body embraces and responds to them. Open to everyone: beginners, dancers, and artists from other fields. Comfortable clothing recommended.
This workshop is part of our fourth SIDEWAYS DOOR festival. For full festival details and tickets check out the festival page on our website.
