We conceive of our work as existing within cycles. Each cycle centers materials and processes from our individual and joint practices that are treated and imagined as collaborators in the work and are explored iteratively through performances. We consider the performances themselves as entwined with our creative process – never culminating but rather serving as touch points within any given cycle. Each iteration provides an opportunity to remix and reimagine the DNA of what we are exploring. Our practice is fed by a decades-long friendship and is deeply committed to co-authorship and collectivity. Influenced by years hanging out in Western Mass DIY scenes, our work centers an experimental, porous approach to choreography, discipline, and material.
